About Me

Hi, I’m Shahanur Islam Sany – a marketing student, SEO expert, and entrepreneur. I was born in Sylhet, Bangladesh, and I’m the eldest son in my family. My digital marketing journey began with SEO, which led me to create my own SEO agency. Growing up, I’ve always been an ambivert, balancing both extrovert and introvert qualities. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, biking, and immersing myself in new cultures. Harry Potter is my all-time favorite movie, and one of my biggest dreams is to try skydiving at least once in my life.
I am passionate about establishing my own business, and after completing my education, I aim to build a successful career in the marketing sector. I am always eager to learn and acquire new knowledge, and I am determined to succeed in my career by continuously improving my skills and making a positive impact in the industry.

Education

I started my education journey at Police Line School and College in Bogura, where I completed my Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 2019. During my school years, I was also an active member of the Scouts, earning multiple certificates from the Bangladesh Government in recognition of my leadership and achievements. After school, I attended Govt. Shah Sultan College in Bogura, studying science and earning my Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in 2021.
I then joined the BBA program at Pundra University of Science & Technology, where I had the chance to explore my skills further. I participated in a Business Idea Competition, winning 1st runner-up, which was featured in a local newspaper. This success motivated me to compete in the All-Department Debate Competition, where I secured 1st place. I was also a member of the Student Association, actively contributing to campus life.

Later, I got an opportunity to study abroad, so I moved to Canada as an international student and joined the marketing diploma program at George Brown College. I began my studies at George Brown College in September 2024, marking an exciting new chapter in my education journey as I work toward my diploma in Marketing. This step brings me closer to my goals, as I’m now gaining in-depth knowledge of core marketing concepts and am excited about the new opportunities ahead.

I also worked on developing strategies, conducting research, and presenting solutions that contributed to the project’s overall success.

E-commerce SEO Project

A local e-commerce business approached me because their sales and online traffic were stagnating, making it challenging to compete with larger competitors. My task was to improve the website’s SEO to increase visibility and boost sales. To address this, I conducted a thorough SEO audit, researched target keywords, optimized product descriptions, and focused on improving the site’s loading speed. I also developed a content strategy centered on high-converting keywords. As a result, organic traffic increased by 40%, and the business saw a 25% growth in sales within the next two months.

SEO Campaign for Startup Tech Website

A tech startup was struggling with low organic traffic, which was limiting its growth potential.
